The Board of Servants was developed out of a need for a leadership team to develop, plan and facilitate SHINE in Ada’s day to day functions and future.
The Board of Servants expects of itself and its members ethical and business-like conduct. This commitment includes proper use of authority and Christ-like decorum in group and individual behavior when acting as Board members.
Ashley & Adam
Hampton
Adam and Ashley Hampton love family, friendship, adventure, and beauty. With their three boys, they love to go camping in Oklahoma state parks, travel to learn about history and culture, share good meals with friends, go on long bike rides, read books aloud, and serve in their church. They have been homeschooling for 6 years. Adam has a BSN from ECU and is a RN at the Chickasaw Nation, and Ashley has a MS in Education and teaches Spanish classes at Beyond Borders Language School.

Carson & Christina
Thetford
Carson and Christina Thetford have been married since 2008. They live in Ada, OK with their four kids. Carson graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University with a degree in pastoral ministry, and worked in vocational ministry for 10 years before entering the corporate world as a digital marketer. Christina graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Speech Pathology. She has a heart for kids and worked in children’s ministry before entering full-time into her role of “homeschool mom”. The Thetford’s began homeschooling eight years ago and plan to continue through the high school years. Their favorite things about homeschooling are the quality and quantity of family time, the flexibility, and the ability to learn and grow together.
Kailey & Parker
Wellington
Parker and Kailey Wellington are middle school sweethearts who have been married since 2007. They live in Ada, OK with their three sons. Parker graduated from ECU with a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology and Entrepreneurship. He is a store manager for Walmart and dabbles as a jack-of-all trades and regularly utilizes YouTube as a trade school. Kailey graduated from ECU with a Bachelors in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Services to the Deaf, and OU College of Law with a Masters in Healthcare Law. When she is not busy educating their three boys, she works as the CCO for The Clinic @ COFMC. The Wellingtons enjoy homeschooling, traveling, spending time with family, friends, and making lifelong memories!
